To those using an external mac keyboard and mighty mouse with their MacBooks...

Don't you miss the trackpad ???

That's my biggest concern, if I hook my notebook up to an external monitor and buy the mac keyboard an mouse I'll loose the benefits of the trackpad... or is the mighty mouse / keyboard combo that good??

Any comments appreciated.

I hate trackpads so no, I didn't miss it. I have an iMac now.

Normally I avoid trackpads at all costs, and use my logitech VX. But with the UMBP, I actually prefer to use the trackpad for most tasks. The gestures in FF3 B2 make browsing so much smoother and faster, I browse the web for 2 hours a day, it saves me time for sure.

the only thing I like about the trackpad is 2 finger scrolling, other than that mouse all the way. my bt mighty mouse's scroll wheel doesn't work so I use the trackpad to scroll webpages.

Blow at the scrolling ball whilst spinning it, mine keeps on not scrolling and then I have to do that, so annoying.

If you clean the wheel with a medical wipe really fast that cleans it....should work how its supposed to then,bad design apple!!!!
