I know it broke a lot of things for a lot of people... but what were the stated bugs and errors that were fixed? Was there a list of them detailed in the 8.0.1 release or did it just say something like minor big fixes without discussing them?

At least we know 8.0.2 will probably fix these things and is probably just a few days if not hours away...?

So far the only thing that it's fixed that I was having issues with was not being able to answer or hang up on calls via Bluetooth. That now works. Hadn't had any other real issues to speak of, so can't say if the issues others were having had been fixed.

My friend who updated said he used to get lots of spam calls but they all stopped today. Complete silence.

You're welcome.

Fixed the really annoying issue of me getting phone calls from people who wanted to contact me.

I heard it fixed some of the bent phones out there and made them straight again

Updated on my iPad (no issues), but haven't noticed anything different.

Halfway through downloading the update to my 6 Plus when I heard the various issues. Suffice to say, stopped it downloading there and then!

Only thing I've noticed is I'm not getting the same iMessage keyboard issues:
(random locked portrait, unresponsive keyboard) since the update.

I had previously bent my phone after leaving it in my skinny jeans and going to karate class. But after installing the update it straightened it right out. Amazing! Apple does it again.

Mine seems to be crashing less, but I'm not sure if the battery and speed have gone downhill a bit.

It appears to have fixed the wifi and LTE issues. Also Safari is no longer crashing. The battery on my 5S has been better on iOS 8 - happy about that. I hope there are no isssues when I get my 6 on Friday. I'm not going to deal with hardware issues or software; I will just return it and wait a couple of months to purchase again.

Anyone happen to notice if it fixed the landscape mode issue with the screen not responding? That is annoying as heck.
