I've not long installed a second HDD in my MBP using the optibay device.
I've read a lot on here about people who have done the same, and have had no problems with their HDD spinning down.
But my HDD (in the optibay) never spins down, even if it hasnt been used for hours. Now I know some programs might very quickly access it and therefore it might prevent it from spinning down, but I have iStat installed and I monitor if the HDD is accessed and even after no access after 20+ mins - still spinning.
Any ideas of what I can do to fix this?
Just to help, my specs:
2010 15" MBP i7 2.66
Vertex 2E 25nm 160GB (in proper location)
500GB 7200rpm (in optibay location)
