Hi all,
I'm running Mac OS 10.5.8 on my MacBook and I use Toast 10 Titanium pretty often to burn DVDs. At times I even use iDVD.
Lately I have been trying to burn about ten 12-minute video files (.avi) onto DVD using Toast 10. I have QuickTime Pro, so playing .avi has not been a problem for me. Each of the video files are encoded using DivX 6.0 and MPEG Layer-3 audio.
Here's the issue: half of the files import into Toast 10 and play back without a problem, while Toast only imports 4-6 SECONDS of the remaining 12-minute files. I tried importing the same "problem" files using iDVD, and the same thing happened. I find this strange, since the same files play in VLC AND QuickTime Pro, so I know they are not corrupted.
What am I missing here?!! Does anyone know how to correct this?!! It's driving me NUTS!!
I appreciate anyone's help. Thanks.
