I know this question has been asked numerous times, but I would like it quickly addressed for my particular situation.

I have blu ray files, on a server...on average the file size is 20gb. using Toast 10 Titanium Pro I'd like to convert those files so I can play them on my iPhone. How long would you anticipate this taking with a 2.66 MBP vs a 2.93MBP...depending on the time difference, I can then justify which is better for me.

Thanks

BTW, I ask because its probably the most CPU intensive thing I'd do.

I have a 2.93...just received it yesterday and am about to send it back due to a dent on the unibody. A store near my home has a 2.66 anti glare that I could pickup today....and I will if there won't be more than say 25 mins different in a 20gb file

Anyone have an idea on this?

I don't want this to turn into a 2.66 vs 2.93 thread...I just want someone with experience to give me a ballpark guess and I'll be done with it.

Break it down however, you can even go by file size (DVD to h.264 for apple tv)...

Thanks
