hi folks,(no laughing please)

im trying to burn an iso file onto cd so it would be readable. i have it saved as an .iso file on my drive but need to burn it on cd to update the firmware on my dvd player

it keeps failing..whats the proper way to do this?

can someone assist me with this?? tia

Whilst this is possible in toast, here's some instructions that use the disk utility that everyone has.

Open disk utility (applications>utilites>disk utility)

Then from the menu bar choose "images" (or alt, command and o )

find your iso image file and wait whilst it is opened, can take a while if it's a big file.

Then when the iso file is selected, click the "Burn" icon.

I recommend using a cd-r if you are updating a dvd-player that plugs into your tv.

Hope it works
