Toast 7 file compatibility with Toast 8

I created a Video CD with Toast 7 and saved the file (filename.idisc). I tried to use it with Toast 8 but Toast 8 would not read the file. However Toast 8 does read my MP3 disc file I creared with Toast 7. Is the VCD files created with Toast 7 not compatible with Toast 8? :)
