Hello,
i tried converting a video file and buring it to DVD last night using Toast 8, and i ran into some interesting issues. First, the video is in avi (xvid) format, when played thru quicktime (which i believe is my default player) there is no sound on the computer. However, when i play it thru something like VLC it works perfectly with sound. So when i burned it to dvd, the dvd had no sound...what can i do to solve this? Secondly, and i think i may know the answer to this one already, but after i burnt it dvd, i tried playing it on one of my reg DVD player, and on the screen of the tv...it said something like "tv does not match" is this because i might have converted it to PAL, or perhaps it was already in PAL and needed to be converted to NTSC?
thanks in advance for your help
