Toast 8 and Eye tv problems resolved

All of a sudden the above 2 programs crashed on boot-up. The problem, I eventually discovered was the uploading of the following QuickTime add-ons:
DivX Encodr.component;, XVid 1.0 pref app and Xvid_Codec 1.0 alpha component. I binned them and all is well...

...hope this helps fellow sufferers...
