Toast 8 or Jam

I currently use Jam because I need to burn red book standard cd masters. However, I was reading that Toast 8 contains some of the same features from Jam. Is it now the same or Jam or do they still offer two different quality of cdr burning. I assume they are never going to update Jam 6 so I'm not sure where to go from here. would appreciate anyones insight.

Im not sure about the features that you are referring to, however I will say that Toast 8 is significantly better than previous versions of Toast. You should try it out and see for yourself. I think its a great program!
