I have some .avi files that i have converted to mpeg-2. Using toast I've burned the mpeg-2 files to dvd so i can play them in my dvd player, but i am having trouble with the audio and video synching correctly. the videos that i am converting are about an hour long, and with each burned disc, after about 20 or 30 minutes the audio-video synch is off by about half a second.

i've tried slowing the burn speed to 2x, and even restart my computer every time i burn a disc to free up any memory, but it doesn't help. the odd thing is that if i usually burn two files to one DVD, and in each video file the synching problems happen at around 20 or 30 minutes in.

Anyone have a solution? if it helps, i am running an intel based imac (not the current generation, but the one before).
