Hello,

I am trying to back up files on my hard drive. I have a folder of tv shows I have accumulated, and it is approx 30GB.

I want to put these files on DVD-R, without having to move them around. I was hoping that Toast would start to burn and just tell me when to put a new DVD-R in but it does not. Is there a way to allow burning sessions in which i only have to change the DVD-R once full.

Thanks!

Err.. it will. How did you start the burn session?

I went to the Data tab, selected 'Mac & PC' as the format, dragged in the files and clicked burn.

Then I got the message, 'theres not enough free space on disc'

EDIT: I am using Toast 7

PROBLEM SOLVED - Disc spanning can only occur on Mac only DVD-R's!
