Toast vs. Disk Utility

What is the advantage of using Roxio toast to burn a DVD as opposed to using Disk Utility?
This is in reference to ripping a DVD with MacTheRipper, compressing it with DVD2One, and then burning it to a disk.

Disk Utility is fine for basic disk image and file burning. For anything else, especially anything that requires reauthoring, I'd go for Toast. In your case, Toast is definitely the way to go.
