Hey,
I'm having a little trouble trying to burn to .mov files to DVD, using Toast 8 Titanium. The files in question were originally .avi files with .srt subtitles. I used QT Pro with Perian to auto load the .srt into the .avi. I then Saved as... from QT. The resulting files were the .mov ones, now with the subtitles merged into the video like I wanted.
However, when I went to burn to DVD in Toast it froze up at 48% through encoding. So, I reduced the quality in Toast from Better to Good (assuming this would reduce the size and that that was the reason of the freeze up). I then tried to just save as a Disc Image in Toast this time...but again it froze at 48%.
Now, I'm here asking for help. What can I do to squeeze these two files onto a Toasted DVD that will be playable in my DVD player? Do I need to convert the .mov files to another format?
By the way, the two .mov files are 696.1 MB and 697.9 MB in size...which is roughly the same as they were as .avi.
Any help is appreciated.
