Yes, summer has arrived in southern England so my new shorts and a t-shirt came out of the wardrobe. My mighty 12 Pro Max produced a bulge in my pocket that was highly inappropriate for a man of my age, and its weight threatened the extreme embarrassment of having shorts around my ankles in the supermarket. So, with no jacket pocket to carry the leviathan I have taken my main SIM out of the 12PM and restored my XS to front line service; oh my, it is so much more manageable.

If I upgrade this year/next year/sometime I will definitely not be picking the biggest model, that’s for sure.

Were you using a screen protector? I've dropped a phone face down on gravel. Screen Protector (Belkin) shattered, but screen was fine.

Yup life’s hard when the suspenders can’t hold the pants with the load of this phone making so inappropriate dents.

This is the type of shorts I generally wear, if not always the same brand.

Never had a problem with my 6s+ or my 11 Pro Max. In fact I can carry both without an issue.

Just how short are your shorts that they can't carry your 12PM? Don't answer that!

Yes its great OP, 29 degrees today and 31 tomorrow in London. Lovely weekend weather. The iphone 12 mini is calling for you OP, no more sagging shorts or trouser pockets lol :p

You realize that's not a shattered screen and the OP had nothing to do with dropping a phone, right?

LOL. No where in the OP mentioned about the phone being dropped and it's just a wall paper. Doesn't look like the screen is cracked.

The biggest iPhone I owned was an 8 Plus and that was a complete pain to carry around in general, let alone in the summer with shorts etc. I often didn’t take it out with me in those scenarios. Glad I went smaller with an iPhone 12 and would never have considered the Pro Max to be honest. A lot of jeans don’t have pockets big enough for modern phablet devices in my experience.

Just so, I have fleeces with pocket zips I struggle to fasten around the Pro Max, and without being zipped in that phone is hitting the pavement. Of course I should have foreseen such issues, but at time of purchase I had a yen for the latest and greatest. Mea Culpa.
