todays APOD & Safari don't mix

What is the problem with the Astronomy Picture Of the Day (APOD)? Neither my MacBook or iMac G5 will handle the image today. I have menu meters on my MacBook and it shows both cores taking jump in processing to around 65% with safari becoming unresponsive.:confused:
 
It works for me, although it does some strange things in both FF and Safari, like displaying the image in other locations besides the target embed location. But anyway, it uses an embedded WMV file... what are you using to view WMV? Are you using Flip, or something else?
 
Not ridiculously long. Not like one of those pages on MySpace written by you know who you are. :D

This is FF 1.5.0.8 and Safari 2.0.4 on an iMac G5 / 2.0, though... not on an Intel.
