This console message was flooding me after I got to mountain lion

The network configuration for the nvidia ethernet card was configured to manual at default, and I had to plug in an ethernet cable first to adjust the setting. Once I had done this I used the advanced settings for the ethernet to return the setting to automatic to stop the constant ping it was making to nowhere
