Where does this app pull it's data from? I'd like to see how accurate it is around my area before I commit to a purchase....or is it only good for big cities? etc.....
Since I've had tons of emails about whether this App works worldwide, I'm going to answer it here so everyone sees it!
So, YES the App works worldwide!
Thanks for your continued support!
Thanks for your question.
The App pulls the data using Google Places and Google Maps. It should work anywhere in the world but will probably more accurate in cities.
ThanksJASApplications,
I love this idea - simple yet very necessary!
Is there a feature that allows me to "save" offline toilet map data so I can preload the data of a large area via Wi-Fi but then use the app when I do not have Wi-Fi and no 3G?
Also, does your app contact any other server (your own or otherwise) to pull or upload usage data? Any privacy issue, particularly uploading usage data (sorry, but I don't like my data being upload as to how many times I activate the app to look for a toilet nearby... somehow this just feels embarrassingly wrong)?
Again, since you don't seem to like to answer tough questions. Why your app and not just use Maps or Places?

Why your app and not just use Maps or Places?
And why multiple apps (Toilet Finder, Coffee Finder, Restaurant Finder, ...), rather than just one app that lets you find all of these kinds of things?
What this app needs is social networking!
When you're in the toilet it should automatically update your Facebook and Twitter to tell all your friends and followers. Also, once everybody has this app open on their phone, you'll be able to identify which of the nearby public toilets are available, which are being used, and which have the longest lines.
Thanks
Unfortunately that feature is not available at the moment however I could definitely implement it into a future update!

I agree !! After drinking 4 espresso's you're gonna need a toilet.
That would be wonderful! To implement some kind of cache of the map data will be a tremendous help in making this app practical and actually useful.
And why multiple apps (Toilet Finder, Coffee Finder, Restaurant Finder, ...), rather than just one app that lets you find all of these kinds of things?
You can then even find out more information about each toilet location including phone number, address and also directions to get to that location!
This is the part I find the craziest - Phone number? Who rings public toilets!?

It's a feature which is fairly easy to inplement with Google Maps/Places so I put it in just in case. Better to have something and not need it than to need something and not have it.
Fair enough but i'm interested to know if YOU have ever rung a toilet and what for!?
