Hi,
3gs fell in the loo, we did the rice thing and if we plug it into the mains it will power on ok, apart from saying it needs restoring, everything is there, photos etc
BUT when we plug it into the comp nothing, apple say they will replace it for a price but we need the pictures on it, any ideas?

Could possibly be just the dock connector, that assembly is replaceable on it's own on that phone.

How can you see the photos if the phone says it needs restoring? If you can use it can you just upload to photobucket with the bulk uploader? Email them to yourself.

It says it needs restoring after a while, can't email pics because it wont pick up wifi or any network
