That would have been the plan in my house, but my in-laws sent my wife a check so she could preorder one for herself as a birthday present from them. Now it appears that we will be having a preorder party together in the middle of the night. I WAS going to get her one as a surprise birthday present, but that's no longer an option. I ended up getting her an iPad instead with the money I had set aside for her Watch. I guess she's going to have a pretty awesome birthday.
