I'm looking for a toll-free telephone service for our business. I expect to use it mainly to replace our conventional fax line, and for voicemail. There must be literally hundreds of companies offering these services now, at a pretty wide variety of prices, but with similar features. Has anyone got experiences with these services that they can share (good, bad or indifferent)? Any gotchas that I should know about before making this move?

Thanks!

Are you involved with a trade association or professional business organization for your type of business?

If so that might be a good source of referals for people who have a similar business.

YABFTDT (yet another back from the dead thread).

For the record, if anyone is interested, I selected Kall8.com. We've been using it for more than year with general satisfaction. We're saving at least $30 a month over having a dedicated fax line, and everything comes through our e-mail, which is cool (and about as "Mac friendly" as can be).
