Hi,

Anyone using the iPhone and the Tom Tom car kit?

Mine docks and connects to Bluetooth ok, also the the Tom Tom car kit app shows it has a gps fix even when my location services are disabled, so I know it's able to use the gps co rained within the car kit.

However, I can't seem to get any apps to use the external gps? Google maps, navigon, etc none o them are seeing the external gps and are only seeing the iPhones internal gps? However when I launch the car kit app again it sees full signal and lots of satellites but when I Launch ANY iPhone ap
It just shows NO gps lock or signal and requires me to turn on the Internal gps?

Does anyone know why my car kit app can see the gps, but why my other iPhone apps can not?

Any ideas?

From what I read the apps need to be programmed to use the additional GPS booster from the car kit, they don't use it by default.
