What's the first thing you're gonna do with iOS 5?

I'm gonna send myself emails and marvel at the notifications, lol.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

If apple follows history 9-930 am

I don't think I'm going to update the OS on my phone as I'm getting the 4S in a few days. I'll let the buyer of my iPhone 4 update it.

I'm going to be happy that a lot of my friends will finally have iMessage. Right now I only have about 2 that have it, and that's because I registered their devices under my dev account.

I'm going to try and upgrade before work, if it's available that early.

Otherwise, I may try to at work. Either way, my phone is getting backed up tonight. Like, twice.

I can't wait to play with lists and reminders.

Going to make sure the generally-available iOS 5 DMG matches the developer-seeded iOS 5 GM. If it does I'm not going to be doing very much since that's already on my phone. ;)

This.

I was pretty excited for iOS 5. I downloaded the GM last week and I have to say that it's pretty nice, but I admit I'm not *as* excited as I was.

I'll play with it on my iPad, but I just can't wrap my head around putting it on my iPhone until I can have an untethered jailbreak . I would be so frustrated without Bite SMS.

I have a question though, I have the GM on my iPad, but when I pull down the notifications bar, the weather and stocks are not there??

I will check out the notifications and then after 5 mins it will be like other phone that have had it for a while so I will get bored pretty quick.

In practice, iOS 5 is a substantial upgrade and reinvigorated my iPhone 3GS.
