TomTom iPhone Car Kit Loses GPS Signal with iPhone 4

I got my tomtom car kit adapter a few days ago and when plugged in and connected via Bluetooth the GPS signal will go in and out, especially at highway speeds. Anyone else having this issue? (and if so, how did you resolve it?)

The adapter doesn't seem to push the the hinge part back far enough. Try putting a piece of tap or something between the adapter and kit to help. Worked for me.
