2AM here in the UK, oh wait! i mean 3AM!

I'm very angry about loosing an hour of sleep in the name of daylight savings. plus i have to go and adjust every clock i have (thankfully my powerbook already did it)

i thought it was worthy of a mention whilst doing a spot of late night posting.

UK people, your Daylight savings thoughts?

S

One of my calendars says that, but all of my other ones say next Saturday Night. I am inclined to believe it is next Saturday night since I have heard no mention of it at all anywhere else.

I'm pretty sure that the US daylight savings begins next weekend, maybe that's the confusion.

Does it? I have somewhere I need to be tomorrow.

But I suppose our computers will adjust accordingly by themselves anyway if it is the case?

Yes, UK this week, U.S.A. next week, just as always. However, we go back the same week. Consistency is great.

So my 6am alarm is gonna feel like getting up at 5am tomorrow. I can't wait. :( :( :(

Mum's laptop was hilarious. (2 in the afternoon) "your time settings are wrong. daylight savings should make it now 11AM" :D Next time, I'm making sure she gets an iBook

I'm not gonna be happy at all next week. Here in Indiana, we haven't had to change clocks for 30 years, and now this bigshot Gov. Daniels comes in and makes all us lazy Hoosiers get up and change our clocks! That is cruel and unusual punishment, i tell ya. [/sarcasm]
Actually, I don't really mind, even if i have to get up an hour earlier, i go to bed an hour earlier to, so it doesn't matter. I just won't like it at the end of June when it's still daylight at 10:00 and I don't wanna go to bed, because I can still see without a street light.

Yup... Monday morning isn't going to be pleasant...

I love how the PB just does the time change and doesn't feel the need to 'boast' about it or complicate matters. And it's the first year where I haven't had my aunt call me to change the time on her PC - she called but to add an extra user account to the iMac

I love when the time goes back in the fall...I usually stay up until 2am just so it can be 1am again instantly! Time travel baby.:D

I'm pretty impressed that my USA-bought powerbook changed the time without a hitch while I'm in France. My settings told it I am currently in the GMT+1 time zone and voila, auto-change. Thanks Apple.

Now if I could just hook up my analog clocks to time.euro.apple.com......

We go back an hour next weekend. Woohoo!! I can't wait to get my hour back they so rudely stole from me at the start of summer.

Love winter!!!

My PC's yep windows all chanegd automatically, in fact they did it right on the hour, 2am skipped streight to 3am, not bad.

My powerbook & G5 did it when they woke up.

SKY+ box changed automatically as did the TV's and mobile phones :)

I did forget to change the time on my alarm clock though and was almost late if it hadn't of been for my friend ringing me up :)

I think there was a security update back in September (or whenever) to help us Australians get that extra week of daylight saving.

You were on a PC during the intimate hours of the night?

Isn't that illegal or something? Surely you should be with your Mac then.
