coffee(1) vs. victor(0)
Over-clocked my coffee in the microwave this a.m. and absentmindedly went to take a scalding hot sip in the midst of opening 'SteveMacQueen'(that's the MBP's nickname) to whit said coffee went ass over tea kettle, landing everywhere--except upon the beloved Lap top which i whisked up and away with a lightning reflex of which i was not aware i possessed. Alas mine own fleshy lap top(i was starkers, btw, which made this all the more harrowing) was not so fortunate, and i did indeed 'yelp' like a little girl. The knee is a tad tender, but an application of a soothing salve has alleviated most of the damage, the mess is cleaned up, and these are tears of joy and gratitude that the machine went relatively unscathed--in the mayhem i grazed a 1/4" scratch with a flying steel ruler into the screen, right at the menu bar. Woe the scars of a battle well fought. If there are any kind souls with any recommendations regarding the removal of said abomination, it would be dearly appreciated. If not, a blemish to keep me humble. Godspeed.
