Too hot again??

hi everyone,
my computer started running really hot again. Ever since I installed the newer version/update of firefox, it's been running funny. freezing up completely, running hot, trackpad not working properly.....has anyone else encountered issues with Firefox 4??I had 1 window open, 2 tabs and my temp was 171 F!!! As soon as I closed Firefox and opened Safari, it dropped. Right now it's at 141 F.....
HELP!!!

So, this has been a common issue?? Do you advise UNinstalling it and reinstalling it?? I really like Firefox but computer does not!!

FF has always made my mac run slightly hotter than safari. not a lot but it def does.

FF just doesn't run as good on a mac. just stick w safari man. it works. stop trying to fix it.

Macs run hot, not a problem it will make it through the warranty which is Apples first priority.

You sure you didnt install something else besides FF at the same time? I'm running iTunes, while leaching on the local wifi, browsing in FF 4.
Steady temp at 137... and as I was typing lower still...

I should add that I did do the thermal paste replacement job.

ok so I'm in Netflix trying to watch a movie n my temp got up to 187 so I stopped.....should I do the thermal paste replacement??? I have no idea how to do it or even what it is but I don't want to fry my mac.....can someone please help me???
