I recently moved to college and the powermac i have is raising the room temperature to unbearable levels. The room is too small and the air conditioning is not working. The machine has 512 standard ram and its set to its highest processor energy. I do alot of video encoding in visual hub so thats processor intensive. So if i were to increase the ram count would it reduce the stress on processors and heat overall. Also i m thinking of selling the machine and just getin a 24 inch imac or a dell 24 inch lcd to go with the apple machine. The imac is a nice machine and it would eye tv hybrid but the thing is the xbox 360 would only be able to played in standard definition. The dell 24 inch would have a eye tv for regular tv use but i would be able to use the 360 in full hd with the component connection. THe eye tv hybrid can play full hd quality broadcasts through the coaxial connection through antenna connection. So is there a coaxial to component connection that could just connect the 360 to play in hd on a imac on the eye tv hybrid?
