Last year I bought and iphone 11 - later in the year like October or Novermber, and in December I bought a macbook pro - so both less than a year ago. I got notifications about 1 year Apple TV free at the titme. But I ignored it as I wasn't interested at the time having already Netflix and Amazon Prime. Just now I decided to try Apple Tv + but its only giving me one week for free. Am I too late? Is there som speical way to do things ?

It had to be redeemed within 3 months of the purchase.

When does my offer expire?
You have three months after first setting up your device to take advantage of your free year of Apple TV+.

Based on the wording it's supposed to be 3 months from the date of actually setting up and starting to use the device. In many situations that's more or less the same as the purchase date for most, but it can make a difference in situations where something was purchased but not set up until some time later.
