Too many MobileSubstrate addons = lower battery life?

I've always wondered if you have a lot of MobileSubstrate addons does that cause your battery to run out faster?

Or it has nothing to do with battery life? I installed LockInfo and within minutes my battery dropped like 3-4%. Not sure why.

Having more addons will make the battery run out faster, but to what degree depends on the add-on.

What are the known addons that drain the battery faster ?

things like dreamboard, winterboard really drain battery alot for me.

but small tweaks like springtomize, nobookmark has little or no impact on my iPhone 4.
