tool convert files names in comment

HI, I'm looking for atool tha tcan convert all my original raws to comments in the original file, so I can related them if I need with their original names, but I can then change the names of the files to my own criteria.

I use Exifrenamer to batch change names with some valuable data, so Im looking for something similar

You want to rename multiple RAW (or DNG, JPEG) files using their EXIF data? You can do this fast and easily from the terminal using F2.

You can use Automator to set the Spotlight comments to Finder items. Here is an example on how to get file names in Automator (beware! the example deals with removing files!)

Another solution is offered via extended attributes. You can get and set them from the command line with xattr, and from programs with getxattr and setxattr. In that case you can simply extend the shell script action in the above Automator example with xattr.
