not sure if anyone noticed, the toolbar background, which is used to highlight when clicking the icon, its width keeps increasing from time to time...

restart big sur, click the icon, it is in the center of background colour.

keep clicking different toolbar icons, to me, very soon background colour area becomes wider and wider, even overflow to next icon...

not sure if it is related to solution or it is just a funny bug of big sur, i am with 1680x1050 resolution...

i think it is nothing to do with resolution, it happened under 1920x1200 too.

i believe it is a macOS bug, every click on toolbar icon will add a little bit on background width, so if I occasionally click toolbar icons, the width change may not be noticeable. if I keep clicking icons, the width change becomes obvious very soon.
