So, I bought a RAM upgrade and a new HD for my lappie. I had no problem at all putting the RAM in but when I set out to replace the HD I found myself up against two Torx screws that apparently hold the front keyboard bezel on. I have no idea where to get a Torx screwdriver that small to take them out! Anybody else have this problem? Where can I get a Torx bit that small?

will that void your warranty? or is it just not covered under your warranty(whatever you put in)?
Installing memory is one of the easiest, permitted, things to do for you Mac. See Apple>Support>MacBook>Install memory. The manual for the MB 13in. comes with instructions on how to replace the hard drive, as is good for other MB models as well.

Makes no difference, It was one of the first MBP's off the line and therefore is currently off the 1 year warranty.

Legolamb,
Would that be "The Source" now? I have an old NexxTech toolkit from them, but maybe it's too old? I'll ask one of the techies at work tomorrow and see what they say. I'm sure one of them has come across these screws before.

I believe that The Source/Circuit City rebranded Radio Shack in at least some stores across Canada. Try store listings under Http://www.thesourcecc.com
(presumably you'll be clicking English ;)

I got mine at Lowe's. It's made by Kobalt. I's a small screwdriver that has different sized bits in the handle. I purchased one that has phillips and slotted bits, and one that has torx bits. They were like $5 each.

Just an update:
I asked around at work, was told about a little electronics place down the street. Went in, for $25 I got a full set of 33 bits with a ratchet handle and magnetic tips!

Next job, install HD!
