Hi Guys,

do you think the top 21.5" iMac with no BTO other than the 1TB Fusion Drive will be enough to play Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 (Heart of the Swarm)? I know some of you are already playing those games on your older Macs, so what do you think will be the highest graphic settings I can choose and still have a stable framerate of at least 30 fps?

Thanks :)

The 21.5" basic one is more that enough for playing that games with high graphics. SC2 and Diablo3 don't need much power....

I play those games on a MacBook Air (Intel HD 4000 graphics) without problems. Okay, not on the highest settings (medium) but it looks and plays good. Shouldn't be a problem for a 21,5" iMac.

27" 2011 imac can run D3 on highest res with no problems. Shouldn't have an issue on a lower res.

I did have to turn down certain settings on SC2 though. Don't quite remember what they were (probably minor stuff like shadows, graphics was at medium?)
