Hi,

The top bar of my iiphone, where the signal and battery life resides, has weirdly lengthen itself in its height. and its almost like just 2 pixels to touching the top 4 icons. I have seen it before on my previous iphone but now i realise its still there on my iphone 5 too.
It should look like this.

But its not, instead its completely black and all the way flush down to nearly touching the first 4 icons.

Anyone have such problems? Is it an app i have that caused this problem?? This problem only happens on the home screen where I see the icons. The rest of the screens are fine.

I'm not sure what you mean, all iPhones have had a black "border" around the screen between the bezel and the display. It shows up more on black phones, and less so when you're using apps, but it's always there.
