Hey, after replacing the hard drive in my macbook pro the aluminum part of the case in the back seems to have separated itself from the corners and behind the keyboard. I was thinking of gluing it back down, but then I ran into a horror story in which somebody messed up their case far worse than this and after gluing it, the fumes from the glue had permanently messed up his screen. Any suggestions? Perhaps an adhesive that will keep the bent up pieces down without messing with my screen? If there is none, would wrapping the screen in a plastic bag and letting it dry overnight work? The macbook pro is working fine. It's mostly a cosmetic issue, but a pretty annoying one.
Also, the top of the superdrive slot is bent down about a millimeter. It's been like this for a while and looks fine, but seems to block the dvds from ejecting unless I squeeze it up to the top with my fingernail. I don't use many disks, but this is still annoying.
