I think these days its a good idea to stay safe but I am not to sure on the best Bluetooth tracker on getting. I don't want a Bluetooth tracker to locate misplaced items with my iPhone but a Bluetooth tracker to find my lost iPhone. So far all I have been able to find is chipolo which works just over 60 meters, where you shake it and your iDevice lets of a sound so you can find it.
