i have a 15 inch mbp i5

when the lid is closed... i can push down on the apple and the metal kinda bends in a little. but it does back to place

is this common?? or should i return my mbp

thanks

Don’t push on the top...?

This isn’t a problem dude, there is a 13-17” screen laying raised above everything else. Of corse it will bend if you push on it in the middle.

But now that you already pushed it, you can't leave it alone. Can you? :p

Be careful though: you can only push it 30 times. The 31st push will break it.

lmao i cant leave it aloneee!

its like those push toys! ahhh

haha im glad its sorta normal tho
thanks for the feedback

Definitely would recommend not doing that a lot. It will do that as metal is flexible, but if you press too hard or too much, you could break something.

You might need one of these then....

Don't push me, push a push pop.

its normal - has been on all the 13 and 15 MBPs I have had.

on a seperate note tho - has anyone seen the vinyl graphics available on ebay for the tops of MB / MBPs? - I think the ironman one looks cool - anyone got one?

Yeah I've seen the Ironman one. Looks pretty cool but seems to be getting pretty common.

I'm surprised no one's made a SUPERMAN one yet where the APPLE logo replaces the "S".
