Hey guys very quick question regarding the macbook pro trackpad 2011 15" model to be exact.

I've only just noticed this but is the top of the trackpad meant to be unclickable ? I mean the last 2cm is unclickable ?

Cheers

The click button is located at the bottom and the whole trackpad is hinged. In theory, if you push hard enough anywhere on the trackpad, it will click.

None of them are clickable on very top, the further you go up the harder you have to push to click, it's where the trackpad attaches I believe. You can always turn on tap to click in the settings and can tap anywhere on the trackpad. I find this 1000x better and don't understand why Apple doesn't have this on by default.

Just to reiterate what has already been said, they're all right. Completely normal. They had to put the hinge somewhere.
