Top Sites causing problems with Safari functions

First off. If I have placed this thread in the wrong, be so kind and tell me where I should post it.
I am having a weird problem. When I press different commands, buttons or whatever that different thing on toolbar, i.e. Show History, Edit Bookmarks, Homepage. Top Sites shows up instead.
