Top sites not showing preview images

Is top Sites working for you guys? I get no preview images for bookmarks either. I did empty cache and reset Safari but to no avail.

They appeared to not be working for me either using the GM.
After letting Safari sit on the Top Site page for awhile, the thumbnails finally loaded. I know its not my 20Mbit connection causing issues...

I've let mine sit for 10 minutes or more and still nothing.

you do have to use it else how does it know your top site

I guess MobileMe preferences added on disabled top sites as an option that I had set when Safari 4 came out.

Running this in terminal fixed my issue.

defaults delete com.apple.Safari DebugSnapshotsUpdatePolicy

Unlike Chrome, there's a default set of websites in Top Sites.

Another year later, this has solved my problem with Safari 7 after updating to Mavericks. I just registered here to say thanks!
