Yo,

Check out the attached screenie of my new iPhone 4s.

I have not jailbroken this phone - I haven't done anything strange.

What do you think is causing the status bar to do this?

Recently installed the 'app store' app.. but that shouldn't cause this... right?

When I pull the notification area down, it is normal.

When I use safari it is normal too... just at the home and lock screen.

Any input greatly appreciated!

That is weird, try a resetting your phone

1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds.

2. Ignore the red slider that appears on the screen and keep holding both buttons until the Apple logo appears.
