The 15 Pro is lighter but not super noticeable. Because Verizon gave me $830 for a four year old phone is really the only reason I upgraded... and, my battery life is suffering on my older phone and the latency is becoming obvious. Yeah I can't upgrade for three years and they made me pick a new plan, but the plan was cheaper than the one I was on.

iPhone 15 Pro. The first impression is quite negative.
Cons:
• The craftsmanship is noticeably worse than 13 Pro I had before - sharp(er) physical edges of the buttons make me think of something not finished and ready, and the phone feels in hand like an aesthetically low-style object.
• The transition from an old phone to a new one took 7 (seven) attempts - errors stopping the process, hanging for hours. From the smooth and easy transfer through the backup/recovery process, I remember, it became a little multi-hour nightmare.
• The screen looks less sharp than the previous gen. Maybe those are new hideous fonts introduced with iOS 17.
• The mute switch converted into the button already being pressed accidentally in my pocket in one day's use. Thinking about disabling this button for good.

The only hope is that with time the new (and hopefully practical) functionality will overweight and allow for forgiveness..
But for now, setting that Moodness tracker to - Disappointed with Apple.

The only thing seamless was the E-Sim auto transferring. I ended up with a total fresh install, iCloud would hang ... it could never see my 12 pro max after sim swap. Now its perfect, exactly set up, took 2 days.

I’m surprised how much lighter my iPhone 15 pro max compares to my last pro max. Idk the exact weight but it feels a lot lighter. I also feel like the keyboard has gotten better. There were several versions of iOS in a row I thought the keyboard experience kept getting worse.
Now you can be additionally surprised when the back glass of your iPhone 15 pro max breaks.
But it just accidentally happens that Apple has lowered the price of these from 500 to 200 USD and made it easier to replace.

is it me or on the iphone 13 (my case), the UI it's kinda laggish...it happened when i swipe down for control center on apps, sometimes it's comes down with a bit of stutter, but after 2,3 times of swipe, it's ok

People are being harsh on the 15 Pro, and maybe its because they have a 14 Pro or something. I'm coming from a 13 Mini, and I have to say the speed, build quality, features, screen, camera and battery life were worth the upgrade, I'm very pleased. The always on screen is way more useful than I anticipated, especially when I'm driving and the screen is locked.

Yea. Remember to buy a special cloth to clean your phone as well.

iPhone 15 Pro Max is nice to hold an no issues with reachablity. From the store demo on black

That said iOS 17 is not happy with iMessage apps it used to be you could arrange apps and choose which are listed. I am also concerned with a fast charge or a good 25 min of content viewing a that the phone does become warm.

Watch OS 10 im not happy at all they got rid of the dock and all menuse seem slow As soon as you put the watch on the unlock it with the iPhone takes a good 10 seconds to get the notification on Digital Island rather than it used to open quicker.

Are you guys aware iOS keep reactivating deactivated options. Like Bluetooth, but now also Location Services and Data Collection under Location Services.
