doable? pulled it down wont let me open it because it didn't originate from the app store?--odd --then why is it available to be downloaded ? thanks

There's a setting In System Preferences > Security & Privacy to let you change that. Once you've opened the app the first time, you can change the setting back and it will allow you to use Tor without changing the setting again.

It's all part of Apple's effort to protect you from unsigned software.

duh! thank you very much---gosh --I should have at least stumbled around about it...but I have been snakebit before doing that.....thank you very much I knew it was doable..and Iknew it was something simple and on me, but again, snakebit...thank you very much-
