Tor on Google Chrome

Hello,

I can't get Tor to work with Google Chrome. I tried using the extension Proxy Switchy but after creating the following profile:

Name: Tor
Manual Configuration
Http Proxy 127.0.0.1
Port 8118
Use the same proxy server for all protocols

and then, in General tab:

Quick Switch
Binary Switch
Profile 1: Direct connection
Profile 2: Tor

but, when I click on the Proxy Switchy icon in Google Chrome nothing happens.
The webpage https://check.torproject.org/ tell me that I am not using Tor.

PS: Yes, I have tor browser running in the dock.

any help?
