I replaced the ssd drive in my 11" MBA and the torex screws on the bottom got pretty messed up. Does anyone know where you can buy additional screws? My keyboard had been replaced under warranty by an Apple approved repair facility and they messed up the screw a little too.

If you used a Torx screwdriver on them then of course they are going to get messed up as they aren't Torx, they are Pentalobe!!

You cannot buy pentalobe screws alone as they are unique to Apple. I would not be surprised if Apple refused to do anything with your laptop if it needs any warranty work now, as you have clearly 'forced' entry into the case.

You may well be able to get comparable thread/head Torx screws which can replace them.

Had a snoop around, atMac is right. Not cheap, mind.

It's out of warranty.
