Who else’s in the same boat?

I’ve always wanted a white iPhone pro. Like a pure, snowy, white iPhone.
I’ve never bought one because the pro models had this silvery frame on the sides and the camera rings would appear really dark in certain angles, making the lenses just appear really dark and large. I don’t think that’s complimentary against a white back. I wonder how titanium reflects. What I like about the aluminum on the cheaper versions is that the camera rings just reflects their represented color no matter what angle. The iPhone 12 white looked gorgeous, and the white rings around the camera made it looks like a winter dream.

I'm torn between the titanium white and the natural titanium.
There’s also something appealing about the natural color. It seems like the camera rings are more complimentary on that color. Like they’re melting together with the whole back. It also looks beige in certain angles, and I’ve always loved taupe, beige/creamy colored as I find them pleasant. But the frames looks like piss 😬 it’s so frustrating that I cannot see it in person before the pre-order. I’ve looked at the cases, and to me, most of woven cases looks best with the natural titanium camera cutout. It makes me wanna get mulberry, every green AND taupe. And just rotate between them.

I just don’t want to have another year thinking “why didn’t I get the damn white one!!??!”… but I also have to think about what I’m drawn too at the moment. Sometimes I think to myself, if I just like the IDEA of the white and then end up complaining how it’s not solid white on the sides and camera lenses. If I order the natural one, I just hope it doesn’t look like piss gold. I really don’t wanna return it…

Same boat. Decided white. Titanium natural has the hype of course - that’s why most people will buy it lol. However I don’t follow hype. Ask yourself which phone color were you drawn to at first sight when viewing both side by side? For me it was white. White it is. Not looking back.

Think I would go for white again. The titanium natural looks a bit “beige“ to me in the pictures. Hopefully the white will be easier to get. Not that it really matters as it will be in a case 99.9% of the time.

I went with natural titanium.
I kept feeling curious and drawn to it, so I knew that was my answer.
It looks like it’s the most seamless one, how the frames on the sides and camera rings jelts together with the back. it’s gonna look great in most cases.

I ordered the natural titanium but I’ll make the final decision once I see them in person. This would be the first time I upgrade to a non-dark iPhone model so it’s a tough choice.

All you will get is answers about what other people like. But that should not influence your decision about what YOU like. Just don't think too much about it and take the one your gut tells you to take.

If I were buying the phone for myself I would've went with the blue-titanium. I was buying for my wife who doesn't really like shades of grey -- I was hoping the titanium was more golden looking but it wasn't, so I opted for white for her.

Unless you carry your iPhone naked, colours are not a big deal as the phone will be in a case.
If you’re going to have it in a case just get any colour, get the one which has shortest delivery time then for example. BUT, if you’re going to go caseless, which I would admire if you did, I definitely think the natural is the coolest and probably the one with lowest risks of visible issues, and the one that will get the coolest patina by time imo and it’s the flavour of the year anyway. I mean it in a friendly way, it’s just a phone and not a big deal, just have fun and enjoy the experience. 😀

Damn. You just sold natural to me. It would math the future patina of my car.

I tried to order it 4 times until I gave up and ordered white titanium.

I was torn between the two and wound up ordering both. I couldn’t decide on one at preorder so figured I’d get to see them both in person when delivered this Friday and return the other. White Titanium I know I’ll like but was also intrigued by the new color. Everything we have seen so far has been taken at the SJ Theatre post event so I think we will get to see come Wednesday (I believe) when the tarif lifts and actual reviews come out in different/natural lighting.

I personally think that the true colour of Natural Titanium is warm beige gray. It is greatly affected by the lighting conditions. I won't be surprised if it perfectly matches the aluminum in Starlight on Watch 9. I am planning to get the watch for Christmas after all the reviews, transitioning to it from Garmin.
All my iPhones before this one have always been white. I think that in a way it's the best colour for a woman, if she likes playing with fun cases.

In some of the photos, White looks quite warm—not like a cool White if that makes sense. But in some photos it looks like a traditional cool White. It would be nice if there was a true color comparison video before launch but I imagine that won’t happen.

Yes indeed, just underlines the fact they have tinkered with the photos a bit, e.g. colour saturation, to make the effects of the fingerprints stand out more. We still need to get judged how it’s irl.

Hence our order for 2 white Pros - the natural did seem "beige" to us both, and yes, it'll be in a case!

I think that natural titanium will look great when used with something like a cognac-rich leather case.

Otherwise, natural just looks so blaaaaaaahnd to me.

watch ultra is as close as what you will get on natural titanium.

why is there this big guess?

do you like apple watch ultra case ? yes ? then natural titanium it is

I think both natural and white are light sensetive. Despite watching 3-4 videos of the colours i am not 100% clear on what they look like eg silver vs white OR beige vs off white.
