Anyone know the stocks of the Apple Store Toronto for Iphone 5 . My friend will be flying there tomorrow and will buying some phone Anyone maybe been there , bought there ? They are the unlocked ones right ?

They don't sell unlocked phones at the stores, you can only purchased phones that are locked to any of the Canadian carriers; you don't have to activate it there.

They only sell unlocked iPhones on Apple.ca

If your friend is desperate, s/he can try toronto.kijiji.ca. Quite a few people are selling unlocked iPhone 5's for a profit. They want $900-1000 when it's $790 with tax from Apple.ca.

If you are currently signed with a carrier, you can purchase a phone outright and pay them an extra $50 to unlock them.

Though I would check with your carrier first and just confirm.
