Torrent Client VPN Bind & Routing

Hey guys,

I wasn't sure where to post so I am posting here.

Is it possible to bind/route my Torrent Client to my VPN?

By bind I mean make it so that my Torrent Client will lose connection if I lose connection to my VPN.

And by route, I mean keep the rest of my computer wired through my regular internet connection, so I can browse at normal speeds while my torrent client is going through my VPN.

I am using Transmission, Utorrent and Vuze. I have seen Vuze's "bind" option but cannot figure out how to properly set it up.
