Hey, I just purchased my mac a few days ago. I was wondering, what programs do i need for torrents? Ive heard transmission is good, but what else should i download? thanks for the help.

Azureus is a program which will allow you to download torrents you find on the web. Just file open the torrent it takes a few days. Some times up to 3 for big files.

To dowload azureus go here

Of course there are better programs than azureus, but this is a cross platform programs so you will meet many windows user.

If the file won't play try using Mplayer. It's a free program to play your .mkv.

Though I would love it if some one would tell me how to convert the .mkv to .avi with audio I've tried DivX and it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Thanks

TO play you .mkv files since quicktime won't and media player can't. DivX is okay for only divx files.

Alas, any one know a good player that can play everything?
